Water sensitive activation system - with clear indication of armed status.
Uses a compressed paper capsule that dissolves in 5 seconds and releases a
spring to puncture the gas cylinder. Indicators on the head show if unit is armed.
Cap is designed so that only water flowing upwards through the unit will cause it
to activate. Water, spray, rain running down the jacket will not cause activation.

Delivery outside of UK mainland: For all gas inflating lifejackets, we can deliver overseas only by first removing the gas bottle. You will have to find a local source to replace this bottle for the lifejacket to function. There is no reduction for not shipping the bottle as these are of no use to us. Note, we cannot send re-arm kits overseas.
