Description

Details

The T200B is a compact self contained unit which, when connected to an external VHF and GPS antenna, will transmit its own vessels position and data, and also receive information from other AIS vessels, shore stations and navigational aids within VHF range. The unit is initially set up by the user, with the supplied program via a PC, with the vessels MMSI number, name, callsign, dimensions and type of vessel. Once programmed the unit will operate automatically as a stand alone unit receiving and transmitting AIS data. The T200B is compatible with PC Navigation programs and Chart Plotters that are capable of accepting NMEA 0183 AIS sentences.

There are four variants in the range:

  • Basic T200B unit alone
  • T200B-S which is a transponder with a built in splitter so it can utilise an existing VHF antenna
  • T200B PowerPack for powerboats including the T200B, GPS Antenna and AV100 Antenna
  • T200B-S SailPack for yachts including the T200B-S and GPS Antenna

The T200B Provides a Small Vessel with:

  • Automatic transmission of vessels own position, speed and heading to other vessels within VHF range
  • A method of monitoring the position, speed and heading of other AIS vessels within VHF range
  • The ability to plot the progress, changes in heading and speed of other AIS vessels on a PC or Chart Plotter
  • Transmitter off facility to conserve power, or for covert use

NOTE: Class A AIS transponders must have a dedicated GPS antenna; Class B (this one) does not if there is already a GPS source onboard.

We cannot send other hazardous goods including liferafts, paint and antifouling overseas without first getting a special delivery quotation. After all these hurdles we put up, please do not be alarmed - if you need a liferaft delivered to the Baltic, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, simply contact us for a quote. You can be confident our delivered price will still be better than local sourcing.

For delivery outside the EC, you must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. You will be responsible for payment of any import duties and taxes. The importation or exportation of certain types of goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws.
