Description

The Selva Black Bass Big Foot Sail 8HP XL is designed as a dependable auxiliary engine for sailing craft and displacement boats. Its 165 cc SOHC 4-stroke engine produces 8 hp (5.9 kW) at up to 6,000 rpm, offering steady, controllable thrust with excellent fuel economy.

The extra-long 25" shaft ensures the propeller remains securely immersed, even on yachts with high transoms or in rougher seas. The “Big Foot” high-thrust propeller is optimised for pushing heavier displacement hulls, providing reliable performance at low speeds and when manoeuvring in harbours.

Every version comes with Forward/Neutral/Reverse gears, electronic CDI ignition, manual trim with shallow-water setting, and a 12L external fuel tank. Lightweight yet robust, it’s easy to handle and perfectly suited as a yacht auxiliary or compact main engine for smaller displacement boats.
