Product Description

3 strand White Nylon rope is an ideal anchor and mooring rope. It is high strength yet flexible, splices easily and coils neatly.

Please note that prices are per metre. For example, if you order a quantity of 6 then a 6 metre length of rope will be cut and dispatched.

Breaking Strains:

10mm: 2,080kg
12mm: 3,800kg
14mm: 4,800kg
16mm: 5,900kg
18mm: 6,800kg
20mm: 8,400kg
24mm: 12,400kg

Applications:

Anchoring - Ropes designed for use for anchoring. These lines tend to be strong with an element of stretch to help anchor in any conditions.

Fender Lines - Ropes used for fender lines - normally with a spliced eye one end.

Material:

Nylon - Nylon (or Polyamide) fibres are stronger than Polyester fibres and provide greater stretch (elongation), Ropes produced with Nylon fibres can lose upto 15% strength when wet. The specific gravity of Nylon is 1.14 which makes it sink, the fibre has a melting point of 250 degree C.
