Compatible with the Aqua Signal QuicFits system or conventional mounting, this lantern is easy to install, remove, and maintain.
Product Description
The Aqua Signal S40 Series 40 Red Signal Lantern combines durability, performance, and flexibility for sailboat navigation. Its black polycarbonate housing is non-magnetic, rust-proof, seawater-resistant, and impact-resistant, making it suitable for harsh marine environments. The lantern is surface-mounted and can be installed using either the Aqua Signal QuicFits system for rapid removal during transport or winter storage, or via conventional mounting.
The optics feature a shock- and impact-resistant Fresnel lens, providing a 2 nautical mile visibility range. The lens is replaceable, ensuring long-term operational reliability. This unit is supplied with a BAY15d 10/25W lamp, and only original replacement lamps should be used to maintain certification compliance.
The S40 lantern is rated IP56, ensuring protection against dust and water jets, and comes with a PG9 cable entry for secure electrical connection. Navigation light certification applies to the complete assembly, including the original lamp, guaranteeing compliance with international regulations.
