Description
A robust, single-piece stripper arm fully covers the top of the winch, creating a stable working surface while reducing the risk of fingers or clothing catching in moving parts. The composite self-tailing jaws are shaped to allow smooth line entry and maintain a secure hold.
Composite roller bearings and bushings help minimise friction under load, offer strong resistance to corrosion and do not require lubrication. This also contributes to a lighter overall weight compared to more traditional winch designs.
Installation is straightforward thanks to a stud bolt mounting system, and ongoing maintenance is designed to be simple.
Self-tailing winches are well suited to sheets, halyards and control lines, allowing a single crew member to trim sails efficiently and with ease.
