Description
The Tohatsu 40HP Long Shaft 4-Stroke Outboard combines power, efficiency, and reliability in a compact design. Its 747cc DOHC 3-cylinder engine provides smooth operation with minimal vibration, while the Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system ensures precise fuel delivery, improved fuel economy, and consistent throttle response.
With a 20” (508 mm) long shaft, the engine is ideal for boats with deeper transoms, providing optimal propeller immersion, stable handling, and enhanced thrust in varying water conditions. It features electric start, power trim and tilt, and compatibility with remote control, allowing easy operation and manoeuvrability.
Built for durability, the Tohatsu 40HP includes stainless steel components, corrosion-resistant materials, and a reliable water-cooling system, suitable for both freshwater and saltwater use. Its high-output alternator powers onboard electronics such as navigation systems, lighting, and additional accessories.
