Description
The Tohatsu 50HP Short Shaft 4-Stroke Outboard combines efficiency, power, and reliability in a compact package. Its 995cc DOHC 3-cylinder engine provides smooth operation with minimal vibration, while the Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system ensures precise fuel delivery, responsive throttle control, and reduced fuel consumption.
The 15” (381 mm) short shaft makes this engine ideal for smaller boats and those with shallow transoms, offering optimal propeller immersion and stable handling. It comes with electric start, power trim and tilt, and compatibility with remote control or tiller steering, providing flexible operation.
Built for durability in both saltwater and freshwater environments, the Tohatsu 50HP features stainless steel components, corrosion-resistant materials, and a reliable water-cooling system. The high-output alternator powers onboard electronics, including navigation, lighting, and accessories.
