The Tohatsu 8HP Short Shaft 4-Stroke Outboard delivers dependable power in a compact, easy-to-handle design. Its 205cc single-cylinder OHV engine ensures smooth, quiet operation, while the carbureted fuel system provides consistent throttle response, simple maintenance, and excellent fuel economy.

With a 15” (381 mm) short shaft, this engine is perfect for boats with shallow transoms, offering proper propeller immersion, stable handling, and efficient thrust. Features include manual or electric start options, tiller steering compatibility, and optional power trim, making operation simple and versatile.

Engineered for long-lasting durability, the Tohatsu 8HP includes stainless steel fasteners, corrosion-resistant components, and a reliable water-cooling system, suitable for both freshwater and saltwater use. Its lightweight and compact design allow easy transport, mounting, and storage.
