The Selva Black Bass 8 is a lightweight compact and exceptionally quiet 8 HP outboard motor designed for tenders small fishing boats and utility craft. Its single cylinder 165 cc 4 stroke SOHC engine delivers a reliable 5.9 kW of power at 5500 to 6000 rpm while maintaining low fuel consumption which makes it ideal for long days on the water.

Built for practicality and ease of use the Black Bass 8 comes with manual or optional electric start along with a dependable CDI digital ignition system and forced lubrication via mechanical lobe pump. The water cooled system with pump forced circulation ensures consistent temperature control even in demanding conditions.

It features an underwater exhaust system and a manual 4 position trim for easy shallow water operation. Control is smooth and intuitive thanks to the twist grip tiller bar and steering friction adjustment. The engine also includes a mechanical forward neutral reverse gearbox with full 360 degree shaft rotation.
